Corporate objective to which the department contributes reads:
To develop the capacity of National Medical Stores to equitably provide affordable medicines and medical supplies of appropriate quantity and quality to health facilities in Uganda.
Departmental objectives:
- To develop capacity of line managers to manage their staff
- To systematically assess employees performance against agreed targets.
- To align NMS organizational structure to suit the business needs of the corporation.
- To equip and develop staff with skills and competencies for better performance
The department has three sections:
- Human Resource section
- Administration sectionRegistry section
The department of Human Resource and Support Services is responsible for People Management and Development function of the Corporation.
