Corporate objective to which the department contributes reads:
To develop the capacity of National Medical Stores to equitably provide affordable medicines and medical supplies of appropriate quantity and quality to health facilities in Uganda.

Departmental objectives:

  1. To develop capacity of line managers to manage their staff
  2. To systematically assess employees performance against agreed targets.
  3. To align NMS organizational structure to suit the business needs of the corporation.
  4. To equip and develop staff with skills and competencies for better performance
